How we frame and mount your old vinyl record

The record or sheet music you have chosen will be mounted behind glass inside a frame of your choice. We use high quality frames supplied by Nielsen which come in three different styles as standard:

Aluminium silver
Natural Wood
Black Wood

The frames also come in four different sizes of picture area, depending on the music format you have chosen:

30 cm x 30 cm. For framed CDs.

30 cm x 40 cm. For framed 7-inch vinyl singles.

40 cm x 50 cm. For framed vinyl albums, 12-inch vinyl singles and 10-inch singles.

40 cm x 50 cm (landscape). For framed sheet music and sheet music framed with a vinyl single or photograph.

50 cm x 70 cm (landscape). For framed sheet music with a vinyl album.

Other styles are available

Other sizes, frame styles and mount board colours are available although we may need to order these in especially. This shouldn't affect the delivery time but we may need to make an additional charge to cover any extra costs. Please contact us at ask@old-record-shop.co.uk to discuss.

Create your own personalised message

Inside the frame we'll mount beneath the record a printed message similar to the example shown here.

You can use our suggested format, or create your own text, to mark a birthday, first dance, wedding anniversary or any other event or occasion.

Other than the size of the aperture in the mount board (9 cm x 5 cm), there are no limits on the wording that you might use.

We've printed thousands of different messages on behalf of our customers so we'd be delighted to help create your own text if you are struggling to find the perfect words!

We can frame a vinyl record or sheet music that you already own

Our prices include the cost of sourcing a record or sheet music which we will then frame. But if you already own a record or a piece of sheet music then we will be glad to frame that at a reduced price.

You just need to send us the record by "signed for" Royal Mail post or a courier service, or send the sheet music as a PDF by email. We will then be able to deliver more quickly than our standard delivery times too.
